A busy couple of weeks for the little guy...

A lot has happened over the past few weeks!  First of all, Luke met his great grandfaather for the first time!  Pa is in from Puerto Rico, and we drove to Allentown to see him.  We are so thankful that Luke was able to meet him!  It was pretty neat to have four generations in one room!

We decided to celebrate Matt's birthday while we were there, and Luke helped his daddy blow out the candles on his cake.

Next was Matt's birthday, which ended up being much more exciting than we anticipated!  When we woke up in the morning, I thought that I'd be nice and let Luke wear his Mets gear in honor of his daddy's big day.  His godmother, Aunt JG, gave him the Mets onesie, and the hat was crocheted for him by my cousin, Meghan, in California.  I have to reluctantly admit  that the boy looks cute in orange.

However, the Earth was angry that Luke was rooting for the wrong team that day, so the ground began shaking, and Luke experienced his first earthquake.  He was so frightened that he ended up sleeping through the whole thing.

Last night, Luke was happy to finally be cheering for the Phillies again as he went to his first Phillies game!  First, we tailgated with Uncle Fran & Aunt Maria.

Luke's big cousin, Holly, gave Luke his Phillies hat, which she got from her big cousin, Kate.  I think he looks adorable in his Phillies gear!!

Thanks to Aunt Karen, Luke even has a Phillies burp cloth and changing pad to help chear along the team!

Uncle Fran is already teaching Luke the finer points of tailgating!

Luke LOVED being at the stadium.  He kept looking at the crowds and the Jumbotron.

Clearly, he was worn out, though, because as soon as we put him in his Mobywrap, he fell sound asleep until the 8th inning, when we decided that it was probably best to get going.  The only downfall of the night was that the Phillies lost.  Overall, his first Phillies game was a huge success!  I cannot wait for all of the future Phillies games we will take Luke to.

Finally, Luke is about to now experience his first hurricane, as well.  Luke is so nervous, that again, he has been sleeping the day away with two really great naps!

His new trick this week is pulling his socks off.  He loves to pop them off, then laugh at me while I try to put them back on.  Its a good thing he's cute!!
